There is a place for you
GVFD welcomes people interested in firefighting, emergency medical service, rescue, and non-operational support roles. The department covers approved training costs for members preparing to serve as firefighters or EMS personnel.
Come meet the team
Visit the firehouse on a Tuesday evening, excluding holidays, between 6:00 and 6:30 PM. You can meet members, ask questions, tour the station, and learn what volunteering looks like before deciding whether to apply.
